Transportation Questions
Copy the following questions and paste the answers into the "Instructions/Comments" section of the request for a ride.
- If an appointment, get the exact time of the appointment.
- Get the exact address of the destination.
- Get a phone number of a doctor's office.
- Any problems getting into or out of cars?
- Any problems with the roads?
- Are there any pets involved?
- How long before return trip?
- Will the member use a walker or wheel chair?
- Does the volunteer need to lift a walker or wheelchair?
- Is this a recurring need?
- Is anyone else going with the member, such as a spouse or relative?
- On a shopping trip, will any unusually large items be purchased?
