Add Potential Volunteer

This procedure is followed while the caller is on the phone to a Call Manager.

1. Answer their questions about Nauset Neighbors.


2. Offer to email a Nauset Neighbors Brochure.


3. Describe the kinds of volunteers we are looking for. 


4. Once a person has indicated that they are interested in becoming a volunteer, we  use the online volunteer interest form to Become a Volunteer. which covers: 
    
   1. Contact information. (Be sure to select "Possible Volunteer" as the Category on this form.)
   
   
   2. The volunteer's interests.


5. The Volunteer Intake committee of Outreach is responsible for contacting and interviewing potential new volunteers.  Send the Volunteer Intake committee (volunteerintake@nausetneighbors.net) an email notifying them of the potential member.


6. If the person seems very interested, also offer to send them the Volunteer Forms.  Ask them to:

• fill out the forms, 
• make a copy of their driver's license and 
• make a copy of their registration (drivers only) and
• send them to
