Service Completed
This procedure is followed when the call manager receives a call from a service provider indicating that they have completed
providing a service to a member. This is an optional call by the service provider.
If the only purpose is to let you know
the service is completed, then thank the provider and mark the service as completed by following the first three steps below.
It the provider has a comment about the member or the service, or wishes to record time or miles driven, then do the all of the following:
-
Bring up the
Member Services screen.
- View the service request on the screen.
Click on the check icon on the right of the screen to indicate that the service is complete.
- Change the service status to "Complete". This causes the "ratings" selection to become available. Select
the "Ratings".
-
Enter the comments made by the volunteer.
This could include recommendations on how future services should be provided to this member.
-
If the service provider is suggesting that the member would benefit from a "friendly phone call" possibly leading to a "friendly
visit", write this in the shift notes.
If the volunteer feels there is an issue with the member, document everything in the shift notes. We will follow up. The volunteer may receive a call from the Services Assessment Committee to discuss their issue in depth.
At this time, we do not collect mileage information using the service request. Instead the volunteer sends the information to mileage@nausetneighbors.org
